We bought the set for our Honeymoon to Maui. We used all 4 pieces and they were more than enough space. In fact the large size when full weighed 68 pounds . We had to pay $$$ to get it there and back! I love the way they expand making it nice for the way home since we bought trinkets. They were hard to find at the airport since they all look alike when they are black rolling bags, we had to tie ribbons on them so we could tell if they were ours or not. Only one trip so far, but the quality seems good for part time travelers. If travel a lot, recommend hard shell luggage.
