Very functional, holds a laptop, a couple handfuls of files, pens, ipod, earphones, books, magazines, etc., etc. My old one from Shipley wore out after about 8 years of steady business travel (couldn't find a craftsman to mend a strap) and I was very pleased to find this briefcase which was virtually identical.
