The leather is butter-soft, good stuff. The bag itself is a bit big, but can handle carrying extra things like a notebook when I'm traveling. The shoulder strap seems out of proportion to the rest of the bag, though--while strong/durable enough, the strap seems less than an inch wide, and feels a bit like an afterthought to the rest of the bag.
