I was searching for a bag to replace ones from Lands' End that I have been using for years. My primary objective was to find a bag that didn't require the use of a zipper for regular access to the contents of the bag. This bag has a flap that conceals a partial zipper so files can be inserted into the bag without having to fully zip up the bag. It is wide enough to accommodate legal size files which is what I typically carry.
My sole objection is to the length of the shoulder strap. A shorter strap or one with additional holes for length adjustment would be an inexpensive improvement to an otherwise fine product.

I use this briefcase for work. There's room for my files in the main section, and lots of pockets for holding other things. There are so many different compartments that I sometimes forget where things are! The strap is VERY long, which I love because I wear the briefcase across my body, but it may be too long for someone who just wears it over a shoulder. The leather feels great. My only complaint about the briefcase is that I don't care much for the cell phone holder on the strap. It's too exposed.
