All I wanted and more. Perfect for travel. It holds all the essentials securely and doesn't slip off your shoulder like most totes and handbags. You can even wear it under a coat to keep it concealed but still convenient. Lots of pockets, stylish, and very nice leather.

David King Large Cross Body Bag\nI needed a bag to take on vacation to India, and it needed to be very versatile... Needed to be: 1) Secure 2) Practical for the travelling portion of the vacation 3) Large enough to carry passports, glasses, books and all the other odds and sods I need easy access to 4) Suitable for everyday use 5) Sufficient pockets that I could find things easily 6) Easy to Clean 7) Adjustable strap that could be worn messenger style / backpack with easy access 8) Light enough that I wouldn’t resent having it in my baggage when I was using the larger bag for my camera. This bag fits all my needs. I was afraid when I ordered it that it wouldn’t be big enough for my travel wallet. We are a family with dual passports and the travel wallet is the largest I could find an a little bulky (all 9�x6�x2� of it fit comfortably into the main compartment)! There is still plenty of room for my reading glasses, book, iPhone and travel make-up. There are actually three zippered compartments; two on one side and one on the other. I wish the previous reviewer had taken the time to really try this bag… yes it is primarily designed to be worn on the left shoulder hanging on the right (just like I like it). However, worn over the other shoulder it has one pocket on the outside and two next to your body. OK, the little phone carrier on the strap is a would also have to be removed, but in my mind it is a complete waste of time and money – I threw it away - I don’t want my phone dangling around waiting to get lost – the pockets are easily accessible. As with the larger David King Vertical Laptop Messenger Bag, the leather is so supple that it molds the contents to your body making this one of the most comfortable bags I’ve worn. The adjustable strap is surprisingly comfortable. It is not a “pretty bag�, but it is both rugged and sophisticated making it suitable for both sexes. So far I am most delighted with this find! The only thing I would change is the adjustable buckle for the strap. The buckle adjustment strap for this bag is just the right length for me on its longest hole – I am 5’-10� it may be too short for taller men. It would be better if the adjustment wasn’t with a buckle, but had the looped strap adjustment like the he computer messenger bag strap; the looped strap cannot be completely undone… the buckle adjustment can. I also purchased the David King Vertical Laptop Messenger Bag for those days I need more volume –see my separate review.

I didn't realize that the strap would be worn over the left shoulder, and hang on the right hip. I prefer the opposite.
