Very sturdy. Stable when pulling. Extension handle comfotable and strong. Expandable area very useful. High quality fabric and seams. Main zipper gets stuck sometimes. Easily unjammed but not as smooth as I would have expected given the high quality.

I recently decided to routinely carry emergency equipment (individual alcohol-gel hand-wipes and N95 respirator) while traveling. One of the external pockets keeps these handy if needed. The multiple carry handles make for easy vertical or horizontal lifting and the towing handle is comfortable and operates quite smoothly. You would be hard pressed to find this quality, durability, and thoughtful design anywhere at this price. Overhead compartments may not be adjacent to your seat, so the sage green makes it easily identifiable yet refined. Using the zippered expansion feature may negate it fitting into overhead compartments, especially if the other outer pockets are utilized. The cording adjacent to zipper does hamper smooth operation, but has not seriously jammed (yet).

I haven't had this bag long so I can't attest to its durability. It seems well made, and looks really nice in the beige/green color, which distinguishes it nicely on a baggage carousel. I don't think you can do better for the money than this bag. Note this bag is 21" not the full size 22" carry on. This is helpful to me as most of the overhead compartments I use are actually a bit to small for a full 22" bag to fit nicely. If you jam in all your stuff into your current overstuffed 22" bag you might have a hard time packing this.

I had put a $300 limit on my wish list for the 'perfect' travel bag. I paid a LOT LESS for this item, and after trying it out for two separate week-long business trips, I would pay more than that and then some!
