Bought this as a gift for my cousin, so I wrote the comments that she conveyed to me. She LOVES the bag. I looked all over in every store imaginable (and I live in Manhattan, so there should have been a lot of good choices). But it was impossible to find what I wanted: a brown (not black, for once!) large-ish, sort of shapeless (in a good way), nice leather bag WITH A ZIPPER that she could use for her pocketbook-type stuff plus books, newspapers, etc.--an everyday tote bag. It was a special-age birthday so I wanted to make it a nice bag, and the soft leather of this one did the job. After finding nothing in MANY stores,I finally Googled my way to www.luggage.com and found what I wanted for a price I could afford, and the shipping was even much faster than I expected--decided not to do the very fast shipping, but it got from NH to Philadelphia in just two days anyway!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
