Luggage.com has real people!

Comments about Piel Leather Women's Portfolio:

Briefcase seemed nice, but not quite what I expected (always a risk of ordering anything sight unseen).

Service and delivery comments:

The briefcase I ordered was not quite what I expected -- that's a risk of ordering online.

HOWEVER, the service could not have been better. I ordered over the phone because I needed delivery by a certain date for a birthday gift. The luggage.com fellow I spoke with said he would call his warehouse when it opened to see when the briefcase would ship (and therefore when it would arrive). He promised to call me back with his findings that same morning. "Right, SURE he'll call me back," I thought, never expecting to hear from him again. But he called me back as promised, and I placed the order, which was delivered on time.

Sadly, I'm so jaded that I never expect Internet retailers to follow through on anything, anything at all, because they usually don't. But luggage.com did follow through, and acted like a nice, small-town shop. Good heavens, the guy was even polite! Based on the service I received, I recommend luggage.com quite highly.
