The space in this bag is perfect for my Tuba, which is larger than your typical one. It has ample padding to protect my instrument and pockets to hold my music, portable music stand, oil, mouthpiece, etc. The best feature is actually the straps to carry your tuba (two loops for the back pack look, over the shoulder similar to a messenger bag, and like a briefcase with the two shortest handles). Whatever your preference or comfort level, this bag should work for you. You will not regret it.
