I purchased three. Wanted to organize and separate my lifetime mementos. Used one for career-related news clippings, photos, antiques I used to do my job, etc; another has childhood photos, yearbooks, a couple of favorite toys, first love letters, etc. And I have yet to fill the third, but it will be of my marriage, honeymoon, trips, wedding gown, etc. Each trunk is large enough to hold enough to pass on to next generation, and anything more would be superfluous. So I used the size of the trunk as my guide to decide what was important and what wasn't. One trunkful of memories per facet of life is enough. And the trunks are sturdy and well made enough to pass on for a few generations, I believe.
