About Skyway
Though “Innovation Travel Solutions Since 1910” is the Skyway motto, it is also their heritage. Skyway celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2000. Originally founded by an Eastern European immigrant, Skyway Luggage Company remains in the ownership of his family to this day and, as such, is the oldest luggage firm in the United Sates to be privately held by the same family since its founding. Today’s Skyway Luggage Company is quite different from its modest beginnings as a small luggage manufacturer in the U.S. Pacific Northwest at the turn of the 20th century.
Innovation as a driving concept for the company has many components. Development, value, and the ability to recognize and respond to the changing global marketplace are the benchmarks of innovation. They are also the foundation upon which Skyway’s growth as an industry leader is based.
With distribution established in America as well as outside the United States in Canada, Mexico, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, Skyway can provide its products to more consumers than ever before. All of their products are backed by the company’s massive manufacturing and distribution infrastructure.
Retailers who sell Skyway products know that it is their high standards of quality and their commitment to excellence that make them an uncommon and valued luggage resource, consistently delivering as promised. Consumers who purchase the products do so with the assurance of more than 90 years of quality and practical features at affordable prices.
