Though “Innovative Travel Solutions Since 1910” is Skyway's motto, it is also their heritage. Skyway celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2000. Originally founded by an Eastern European immigrant, Skyway Luggage Company remains in the ownership of his family to this day and, as such, is the oldest luggage firm in the United States to be privately held by the same family since its founding. Today's Skyway Luggage Company is quite different from its modest beginnings as a small luggage manufacturer in the U.S. Pacific Northwest at the turn of the 20th century.
Innovation as a driving concept for the company has many components. Development, value, and the ability to recognize and respond to the changing global marketplace are the benchmarks of innovation. They are also the foundation upon which Skyway's growth as an industry leader is based. Their products are backed by a massive manufacturing and distribution infrastructure.

Comments about Skyway Sigma 2 Rolling Gear Bag:
We took these lightweight duffels on safari in Tanzania. They held up very well with all the handling. Highly recommended as size is appropriate for 1-2 weeks of clothing.
Minor downside is that zippers can stick at corners; they did not break, however.

Comments about Skyway Sigma 2 Rolling Gear Bag:
As with all the Skyway luggage I own, this is well made, very lightweight and rolls like magic. This Sigma 2 Rolling Gear Bag folds very flat and is easy to store. I love the zipper compartment for the handles - I've never had any trouble with them being caught on other luggage or bumpted around by handlers. This gear bag held a ton of items - several pairs of shoes (including boots & slippers) at least 10 blouses, 2 jackets, 8 pairs of pants, night wear and makeup - and much more! Only one little tiny complaint - the zipper pulls get a little tweeked and can be a little tricky to get right again.
