Though “Innovative Travel Solutions Since 1910” is Skyway's motto, it is also their heritage. Skyway celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2000. Originally founded by an Eastern European immigrant, Skyway Luggage Company remains in the ownership of his family to this day and, as such, is the oldest luggage firm in the United States to be privately held by the same family since its founding. Today's Skyway Luggage Company is quite different from its modest beginnings as a small luggage manufacturer in the U.S. Pacific Northwest at the turn of the 20th century.

For work reasons I travel very often and have a long experience with using luggage.
Paired with a small carry-on, this is a very nice expandable suitcase for a 2 week long trip for a couple. It perfectly met our needs on a recent three country trip.
Most suitcases come with a metal frame that is heavy. The plastic frame in this one is durable and of good quality. Due to this it is very light - conserving precious pounds given the low weight limit of 50lb allowed by airlines for check-in baggage.
The handles have very good padding with a fabric cover making it very convenient to lift etc. Most other have a leather covering with little padding that is not comfortable.
On the whole I highly recommend it and am considering buying its smaller sibling as a cabin bag.

We go on long weekend trips and for my work I take 2-4 day trips. This suitcase is the perfect size. Lightweight also. Easing rolling.

I use this for business trips and it was wonderful to just have one rolling suitcase that I could fit everything in and just attach my laptop bag to the front. PERFECT for me! Thanks!

Very happy with this purchase, We bought 2 pieces and wore able to pack more then we thought was possible for a family of four people. Luggage is very light and appears to be sturdy. For the price it is very difficult to reasonably list negative items about the pieces

This is a fine suitcase for it's low price. Unless you absolutely must have a glitzy brand-name stamped on your luggage, you can't go wrong with this piece. I've only used it for a couple of trips so far, so I can't reliably rate it's durability. But the bag looks to be of fine, sturdy construction and, while it may not last a lifetime, there's no reason it shouldn't serve you well for many, many years.

If you need a light-weight medium-size suitcase at a low price, this is good selection. Reasonably well made and rolls nicely. There are better cases out there, but they cost a lot more. The only problem I had was with a balky zipper used for expansion, but it was not enough of a problem to merit returning it. It was shipped nicely packed, and arrived quickly as promised.
