I'm a professional and this bag suits my needs wonderfully. Ample room for 15.4" laptop and many extra goodies and files etc.

I only have 3 complaints about the bag.

1) The shoulder strap feels awkward.. definitely not uncomfortable, but it has some funky ergonomic shape that just doesn't quite work... also, the strap has very little padding for the shoulder.

2) It has a tendency to tip over if the bag is full. I suspect the wheels are slightly taller than the pegs. This could be remedied by putting some sticky pads under the pegs or something else.

3) It's a little annoying that the telescoping handle can only either be fully extended or fully retracted... it's not like other rollers that you can adjust for your height.. the height on this one would accomodate someone 6'4" I suspect!

I still love the bag despite these flaws.

This was a gift to my husband who uses his laptop both at home and at an office. This case provides a safe,convenient way for him to transport the laptop. The leather looks very expensive, but the price was very reasonable. The rollers are stable and the handle extends and retracts easily. All in all, a great buy.

The case has great style and function to it. I finally gave up carrying a laptop and my gear on my shoulder after 20 years. I had been looking at the exact Solo case at several airport leather stores over the past year. The store price kept me from going ahead and buying the product on the spot. I went web shopping for it and found it at Luggage.com. The web price was half of the store price. I ordered the tan leather case. Men, don't worry about the tan color. The case arrived in only a few days after ordering it. The case was outstanding out of the box. Rugged and good looks. I've had a lot of compliments about it. So far, it looks as good as new after daily use and maybe 6 trips. I used the strap for daily use and the wheels for airports, hotels etc. I still have the winter to face with it and that will be the real challenge. I like everything about the case. Buy it!

I took this bag with me to two conferences this month. I drove to one and flew to the other. The bag was very useful in both applications, especially air. It was small enought to get in the luggage rack even on the small commuter jet but held my 17" laptop. Its a little tight in the removable padded case but easy because you can take it out to get the computer in and out. Good cord organization and room for a couple of books, papers, and misc. It was still light enough to carry comfortably as needed. I sprayed a protectant on the leather and had no problems even in the rain. I expect long wear from this bag.

I was looking for a medium-sized bag for carrying my laptop, and this bag fits the bill perfectly. It's not too large and has enough space for all the essentials (laptop, IPod, a couple of paperbacks, etc.). The bag is constructed of quality material and has a stylish appearance. Bottom line: I don't regret the purchase and would recommend it to others.
