This bag was chosen as a gift for a friend who walks to/from work (about 3 miles) each weekday. He's out there before daylight and, during winter, after dark. His other backpack was losing its zippers. THIS one not only has great pockets and strong zippers, it's got LOADS of reflectivity...keeping him safe and visible on his "foot commutes." He loves the "vest-like" feel of the straps but thinks the top-carry handle is a little bit small for his (manly-sized) hand. Otherwise we've heard nothing but praise! Great product.
